A wide range of animals are usually found in the forests, but now whales may also be included in the list, vaguely following a particular event occurring in the past. In 2019, some fishermen were surprised when they spotted a dead Humpback Whale on a forested island near the mouth of the Amazon River. They came to know about the presence of this whale only after seeing a flock of carnivorous birds there.

But how this whale arrived in this Brazilian Amazon jungle and why it was there as its presence in the region was unusual. This forced everyone to think deeply about this topic. However, the whale had no visible injuries on its body. This whale was not an adult animal as it had not fully matured. Because a fully mature humpback whale can weigh around 40 tonnes and is nearly 19 meters long. According to scientific research, this 36 feet long and 10-tonne heavy marine mammal would have been thrown onto land by huge waves during a storm. Scientists believe that the whale may have died in the sea itself, and then the strong waves at the sea would have picked it up and thrown it into the forest.

They also guessed it may have died after being thrown into the forest, or carried there by people. Although there was no conclusive evidence. However, scientists were not sure what this 12-month-old humpback whale was doing in this area, as this region was usually at a distance of 4,000 miles from the area occupied by the humpback whales where they usually feed during that time. They believe the calf may have been lost or separated from its mother during the migration. No vehicle can go to this place, so it is not even possible to bring the whale here by any transport means.
