In the village of Dinosa in Montenegro, an unusual sight can be witnessed, where water appears to flow like a waterfall from the trunk of a 100-year-old mulberry tree. The tree is seen gushing water as if it had a tap inside its trunk. This rare sight usually made people wonder why and how water could flow out in a rapid and plentiful stream from the trunk of a tree. Even many of you must be wondering how water is gushing out of this tree like a waterfall.
Whenever it rains heavily in the village, this mulberry tree turns into a waterfall, but this is not a miracle but a natural phenomenon. Each year in Montenegro, as winter ends, it turns into a flowing spring. In fact, what happens is that when it rains, the water level in the ground rises slightly and creates more pressure that forces it out of the hollow space through the tree trunk. Even there are many other trees exist in this area, but such a strange phenomenon is seen only on this mulberry tree.

Actually, there is a spring just below this tree and it travels through the hollows of the tree to the tree top and thus we get this beautiful rare scene. Following heavy rainfall or after the snow melts, underground springs become flooded. Thus the pressure forces water to rise up the tree's roots that collect in its hollow trunk until it reaches a gap to flow through. Water doesn't pump out of this tree throughout the year, but whenever it does, it becomes a center of attraction.
This is not the first time the news of water spewing from the mulberry tree in Montenegro has surfaced. This is seen here every year but only lasts a day or two. This is not a single tree of its kind as similar sights can be experienced in many forests as well where water is seen gushing like a waterfall from the tree trunk.
