This world created by nature is full of unusual things and mysteries from which scientists and experts are always engaged in uncovering. Some secrets have been revealed but some are still unsolved. Today we will introduce you to one such waterfall whose water falls down as usual like other waterfalls, but after falling it is not known where it disappears. The recognition of this waterfall is best known as the "Devil's Kettle Falls", located in Judge C. R. Magney State Park in the U.S. state of Minnesota.
Devil's Kettle Falls on the North Shore of Lake Superior is counted among the most unusual and mysterious waterfalls. People always have curiosity about this wonderful waterfall. The source of the falls is the water of the Brule River which cascades down a winding, narrow rocky path. As beautiful as this waterfall is in appearance, the story behind it is equally intriguing. Actually, near this waterfall the water gets divided into two streams, one stream falls into the pool below and the other goes inside a pothole made on the rock where it gets disappeared. No one knows where the water of this second stream goes after entering this hole. Even if anything is put in it, it vanishes.
If seen logically the water's nature is "flowing" and if water is flowing then it will surely come out from somewhere, but for years people are failing to find out from where the water of this part of the river comes out. Over time, many attempts were made to solve this mystery but no positive result came out of it. People even dumped ping-pong balls and color dye in the waterfall to find out the path of water, so that this mystery could be revealed, but nothing was achieved even by this. According to one report, the disappearing water of the Devil's Kettle waterfall re-enters the river from underground, and therefore no water loss is occurring.

One theory says an underground river probably exists under the waterfall, while according to another, there is an ancient lava tube underneath that carries the water of the left part directly to the floor of Lake Superior. Locals also believe that the water of this second stream reaches Canada, but no one knows how much truth is there in these theories. Researchers are still trying to find out this natural phenomenon, but this mystery is still unsolved.
