The earth is full of beautiful natural wonders and some of these wonders are so extraordinary that on seeing them it seems like we have come to some other world. Everyone knows about the pyramids of Egypt made by humans thousands of years ago, but are you aware of such pyramids that nature itself makes and demolishes and then rebuilds? Yes, this natural phenomenon can be witnessed in Italy, where these fascinating pyramids stand with dignity.
These stunning pillars rising up to twenty feet above the surface in South Tyrol, Italy are actually known as "Earth pyramids". These beautiful monuments made of clay and rocks are naturally shaped. It is the result of a special type of natural phenomenon that emerges especially after landslides that occur year after year under special circumstances. The major cause for the formation of Earth pyramids is torrential rains and drought in alternation, giving them such form only when the rain cuts the land for years, especially in the friable area.

This is such a terrain where even the wind cannot damage them and even the rock present above has a special role in giving them such shapes. The rain does not diminish them from the top and while eroding all around, the peak remains safe and the shape of the pyramid emerges. These pyramidal formations are gradually evolving, constantly eroding, and will likely collapse and make way for new structures. Many similar structures are also seen in some other places around the world.
