There are many such cities in this world that people consider as unsolved mysteries. These cities exist in such corners of the world where no one could reach and those who reached these places never returned. One such city is known as "The City of Z", a city so advanced that it cannot be considered less than heaven on earth as the people living there had no sorrow at all. This city was so magnificent that the walls of the entire city were made of gold and the streets were made of silver. Whenever the sunlight falls on the city buildings, it appeared like a different kind of heavenly glow as the whole city looks like heaven.
The city's technology was very advanced and the people there had created a source of light that illuminated the entire city without electricity. The city is said to exist near a magical waterfall which some people had reached before and had also mentioned this waterfall in their writings. Many people had searched for this golden city and some had even seen it, but no one had written about its location. But the most important name in this race is that of Percy Fawcett who spent his life finding this city. Fawcett served in the army and played an important role as an officer during First World War.
He was also a geographer and archaeologist who also did the work of exploring many unknown forests. Percy Fawcett spent a lot of time in the jungles of the Amazon and documented many strange creatures for the first time, such as a 62-foot-long giant anaconda, a gigantic spider, and dogs with double noses. Fawcett always wanted to find this secret city for which he already had an idea about its location, but luckily he found a manuscript called "Manuscript 512" at the National Library of Brazil. It was written by a Portuguese explorer who gave a lot of important information about that city.

According to Fawcett, the city was in a valley surrounded by mountains in the dense forests of Brazil, where it was very difficult to reach. He had gone out in search of this city seven times but every time he had to return disappointed. But in 1925, he started his final expedition to find this ancient lost city, and this time Fawcett took his eldest son, Jack, and one of Jack's friends with him. He was also accompanied by two Brazilian laborers, two horses, eight mules, and a pair of dogs. They kept a large quantity of canned foods and powdered milk with them. He took so few people with him because the tribes living in the forest were very dangerous and he wanted to move ahead without being noticed by them.
Fawcett had become famous as one of the best explorers in the world by that time because he had done many expeditions and was recognized as a brave survivor. He also received a prestigious medal from the Royal Geographical Society. On 20 April 1925, he started his final expedition and in May 1925 he reached such a place where no one had gone before. The forests ahead were very mysterious, and there Fawcett had set up his camp and wrote a letter to his wife.

Fawcett wrote that he is writing this letter with great difficulty as here death is playing hide and seek with them. Some flies are here which are as small as the tip of a needle and keep biting all over the body throughout the day. They easily slip through the mosquito nets. Along with millions of bees, here are many such insects whose names we do not even know. We will soon leave this area as now the city of gold is not far away. These were Percy Fawcett's last words to his wife.
After that, no one knows what happened to Fawcett and his team. However, Fawcett also wrote that if they never returned from this journey, no one should be sent to find them. Because Fawcett didn't want anyone else to suffer like them. Despite this, the government sent several teams to rescue them, but everyone was left with only disappointment. But each team had a different view of his death, as some said that he was killed in a brawl with an Indian chief, while others said he was killed by wild animals.

However, some also believed he was killed by the dangerous tribes of the Amazon. Although all these things were spoken about Fawcett, but there was no exact basis for all these claims. Because these teams had neither any proof nor his body. Even some of the teams that went to find Fawcett never returned and they also got included in the list of a few selected people, whose clue was never found by anyone. Now because before an explorer Fawcett was a brave soldier who participated in the world war, then there is no question of him being killed so easily by someone or dying of hunger and thirst. Because he was given the training to live in even more dangerous conditions and if something like this was true then his body would have been in front of everyone today.
Percy Fawcett in his last letter had given his exact location in the form of coordinates and he also expressed his joy of getting closer to his destination. This means he was very close to the lost city or maybe inside it. According to some theories, Fawcett and his team managed to reach the world of gold hidden behind the waterfall, after which they decided to settle there. Anything is possible, but to date, there is not even an iota of evidence about the Lost City of Z and Percy Fawcett, and this mysterious knot is as entangled as it is.
