The Navajo Nation is a native American territory spread over 71,000 square kilometers, occupying portions of northeastern Arizona, northwestern New Mexico, and southeastern Utah. The Native Americans and visitors to the region usually encounter a mysterious entity here, known as Skinwalkers. These are people of Navajo culture who have acquired many supernatural powers through witchcraft or dark rituals. But they always use these powers to harm people.
Skinwalkers have the power to take the form of any animal they wish, most commonly wolves, but they can even take the form of any person who is subject to your identity. It is believed that if someone looks into a skinwalker's eyes, it can enter his body and take control of that person. Perhaps most people in the United States believe in Skinwalkers as they have often encountered them. Three out of every four people in the Navajo Nation claimed to have seen skinwalkers. Although their origin is attributed to the Navajo Nation, but their sightings occur almost throughout the United States. Skinwalkers are often believed to live near graveyards because that place seems most suitable for their dark rituals.
They have another residence that is now famous around the world, namely Skinwalker Ranch, also known as Sherman Ranch. It is a 512 acres property in Ballard city located in Utah, believed to be occupied by Skinwalkers. The site is also reputed for paranormal and UFO-related activities. From 1934 to 1994, this property was owned by Kenneth and Edith Myers, but in 1994 they sold the property to Terry and Gwen Sherman at a very cheap price. The Shermans' occupation was to breed and raise cattle and for this, they needed a similar property. As for paranormal stories, Shermans did not believe in these things at all.
After getting the property, they felt like they had found their dream home where they would soon become successful by raising cattle. When the Sherman family reached home, they were very happy as they were standing outside the house looking at the beauty of the place. The sky was clearly visible from the open fields and a cold wind was blowing. Then suddenly they caught sight of an animal, which was a wolf standing at a distance of about 100 yards. But the surprising thing was that its size was about three times bigger than any wolf, and Terry was also finding its behavior quite strange as the wolf was heading towards them without any aggression as if it was a pet wolf.
The wolf came nearer to them, Terry was six feet tall, but the wolf was comfortably taller than Terry's shoulder. The wolf took a deep breath and looked at Terry's family, then went towards the cattle. Soon the wolf sank its teeth into the neck of a cow-calf, which alarmed the Sherman family and Terry immediately pulled out his Shotgun and fired at the wolf. Now Terry's astonishment knew no bounds as the bullet had no effect on the wolf, neither a wound nor a single drop of blood. Terry fired again, seeing the family upset, the wolf stood a short distance away.

Now Terry asked his boy to bring a Rifle and after a few seconds Terry attacked the wolf with a rifle, but this time too, the bullet left no effect on the wolf. The wolf then turned and started walking towards the woods, with Terry following it and reaching an open area. It was a river bank where the wolf's footprints were visible in the wet mud. Terry followed the footprints and was speechless as fifty feet from the river the footprints suddenly became invisible to the eyes. There was no trace of footprints ahead of it as if the wolf had disappeared into the air.
Now strange and mysterious incidents had started happening with the Sherman family as if Terry's wife used to bring the goods from the market and unpack them, and after a few seconds, the goods would be packed as before. Sometimes things would go missing from home and would be found at a strange place after a few days. Terry would see strange aircraft at night that hovered over his farm and would lift off and disappear as soon as he approached. Time passed and such strange activities kept happening every night. The Sherman family lost fourteen cattle and gradually went bankrupt.
Soon the news of the ranch started appearing in the media, and then a wealthy businessman, Robert Bigelow, bought the ranch and sent a scientific team to investigate the area. After this, people from around the world visited the ranch to investigate and many strange things happened to them as well. It is believed that even today this ranch is occupied by skinwalkers and if someone digs here without permission, he gets in trouble.
The terror of skinwalkers in the past was so intense in America that people were afraid to even mention their name. According to people, if the name of skinwalkers is taken then they start getting attracted towards you.
