If someone moves from one place to another without crossing the physical space between them, it is called Teleportation. Suppose someone wants to go from his house to his relative's house which is 30 km away, he has two ways to cover this distance, first, he goes while traveling, whether through a vehicle or walking, and the other way is Teleportation. Teleportation allows you to travel from one point to another without any physical space traversing. You must have seen those characters in many science fiction movies who travel from one place to another through teleportation, but it is not yet practically possible in real life.
Suppose someone has to teleport from Earth to Mars, Teleportation science says that firstly, all the atoms of that person's body will have to be separated, that is, dematerialized (free from physical reality), and then made rematerialized on Mars. But before that, you should know about quantum entanglement. That is when two particles link together in a certain way no matter how far apart they are in space, i.e. the properties of one particle affect the properties of another, even if the particles are separated by a large distance. This means that they are interconnected with each other and if we change the property of one particle at one place, it will affect another particle millions of kilometers away at the same time. That means without traveling, we can move from one place to another.
In the world of science, many such experiments have been conducted where teleportation has been proven in real. In many science labs, photons have been sent over short distances. Photons are basically the particles that light is made of. In many labs, photons have been teleported up to seven or eight kilometers or even fifteen kilometers away without any actual travel. In 2012, Australian researchers set a record when these particles were teleported up to 143 kilometers. Now the main question is that even though scientists have teleported the particles of light, is it possible to teleport humans?
As we mentioned above, the process of doing this is, if we somehow dematerialize billions of atoms of a human body and then rematerialize them at the place where teleportation is to be done. Again taking the same example, if someone has to be sent from earth to mars, his body will be divided into innumerable atoms and the information of this body will be teleported to mars through entanglement. After this, all this information will be gathered on Mars and there the body of that person will be reformed or the physical form will be taken back.
But according to modern science, it is not possible in today's technology because there are about 7 octillion atoms (7,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000) in a human body. And if we talk about the data which is usually measured in MB, GB, and TB, there is about 60 ZB information inside a human body. ZB is a very high amount of information such as KB, MB, GB, TB, PB, EB, and ZB. This means a human body is made up of billions of gigabytes. And for teleporting, firstly, we have to entangle each atom, then digitize and finally teleport them. But if we really try to teleport such a complex human body, then it will take us 4.85×1015 years in this process, which is much longer than the age of the universe.
The second thing is that when teleportation will be done, during that process when that person reaches mars, he will not be the same person that he was on earth. Because before leaving earth, that person will be destroyed, although he will form again after reaching mars, but he will not remain the same as he was on earth, because there his identity will be different as he has recreated again. So finally the conclusion comes out that teleportation is not possible with the current technology.
