It was 1945 when World War II was nearing its end, and Hitler understood that now the Nazi army might have to face a major defeat as it was impossible for them to win. The Nazis, therefore, intensified looting in their occupied territories and concentration camps. They started plundering valuables from everyone, while on the other hand, the looted goods were being packed in big boxes, and possibly the gold was also being melted and turned into large gold bricks. By the time the loot was completed, so much treasure had been accumulated that it could only be transported by train. Now a plan has been made to take this treasure out of Poland by loading it in a train, where it can be hidden safely.

Now all the loot was laden in the train, in which there were precious diamonds and jewels, a lot of gold, a lot of cash, and more than 500 such paintings and arts which were difficult to value. Apart from this, so many precious watches, binoculars, and many weapons were also included in the boxes. The train departed for Wałbrzych, a city in southwest Poland, and easily arrived at the Freiburg, but did not reach the next station Wałbrzych. In fact, in 1945, the Soviet Army was advancing rapidly, driving out the Nazis, but Hitler had already realized this.
It is claimed that the Nazis had built a secret tunnel system around the mountainous areas of Wałbrzych that existed underground. Wałbrzych was occupied by the Soviets on 8 May 1945, but just before that, this gold train of the Nazis disappeared into the secret tunnel system. After the end of the war, Polish Armed Forces carried out numerous searches for the train, but no one could succeed in this expedition. Later, many other hidden treasures of the nazis were discovered, but even after many decades, the search for this train continues.
