There is no dearth of mythological creatures in Arab Culture as they are still believed to be alive there. One such creature is "Nasnas", and in Arab mythology, this creature was described as quite frightening and monstrous. The monster looks like half a human with one half completely missing, as it has half a head, half a body, one arm, and one leg. It is believed to be so powerful that just by touching someone once, that person dies and within a few seconds his flesh gets separated from the bones.
Somali folktales also describe a similar creature called "Hungruf", which is depicted exactly as "Nasnas", whose single touch can kill a person by turning him fleshless in mere seconds. One story stays that a jinn named Shiqq had a love affair with a female human and the closeness of these two led to the birth of "Nasnas".

The second mythical creature is Roc, which we have often witnessed in video games. This enormous bird of prey has also been reported in the 18th, 19th, and 20th centuries. This is a giant eagle-like creature with a bulky body and wide wings strong enough to easily seize an elephant in its talons and carry it high into the air. It can even pick up very large rocks with the intention of throwing them at its prey. Sailors and explorers have often claimed to have seen it since ancient times.

In addition, there is also a creature named "Qutrub", a type of demon or jinn, which would be correct to call an "Arabian werewolf". This monstrous creature haunts burial grounds or graveyards and eats dead at night, also known as the devourer of corpses. But it has never been heard that it has ever caused any harm to an alive person. It is often depicted as quite similar to the ghoul, as it is said to be the dweller of burial grounds.
