The Ancient Relics With Supernatural Powers | The King Solomon's Magical Ring, And Hand of Glory

We have often heard stories of some people who found some miraculous relics and their life was completely changed because of the powers present in those relics. Did such miraculous relics really exist on earth, it sounds quite strange to hear, but from the very beginning, various types of miraculous relics have been found on the earth, whose supernatural powers could change anyone's life. In today's article, we are going to learn about some such mysterious and magical relics, which really used to exist.

Hand of Glory

Hand of Glory, a relic that with its miraculous powers has the ability to make someone daze and motionless before whom it was presented. The Hand of Glory was not actually the hand of a particular person, rather it was created with some black magic and mystical tricks. Someone who had been sentenced to death or hanged for a murder or a major crime had his hand cut off and mummified. 

The hand was prepared through a special process described in 18th-century documents and a candle was also made from the fat of the same person, lighted, and placed in the Hand of Glory. It was believed that with the help of this relic any door lock could be unlocked and the people present in the house used to keep sleeping without knowing anything. Criminals used this relic several times, robbed many homes, and were never caught. Many such hands were made, but the last specimen has been kept in the Whitby Museum since 1935.

Durendal

The next miraculous relic is Durendal, which has the power of the air element, one of the five elements. It is an immensely powerful Sword of Power. The main feature of the sword was its ability to cut huge stone boulders with a single strike and was indestructible. This miraculous sword was owned by a legendary medieval French warrior named Roland. Roland is considered the greatest warrior of medieval France, and perhaps seeing this ability, he was given this sword. 

The actual origin of sword is said to have belonged to Hector of Troy, but later, it was given to Roland and it was so powerful that it could pierce even a large stone or a rock with a single strike. But when an Italian ruler came to know about this sword, he attacked Roland to get it. Roland's army was small and he lost the battle. But Roland did not want to let this sword fall into the wrong hands. Roland knew that it was impossible to destroy this sword, so he threw the sword toward a cliff, causing it to go straight and end up embedded into the cliff. Even today the sword is embedded in a cliff wall in Rocamadour, which is visited by tourists from across the world.

King Solomon's Magical Ring

Folklore tells that the Archangel Michael presented King Solomon with a supernatural ring that had the power to control Shedim (demons) and jinn, and also the ability to talk with animals. Soloman summoned demons to test the ring, and suddenly a queue of demons and jinns appeared in front of him which looked quite frightening. Soloman was terrified to see them as he thought these demons would finish him, but they bowed down before him. Since then Solomon had the power to command the supernatural, including the demons and jinns. For about 2000 years this legend was narrated in folktales and then the ring was stolen from the tomb of King Solomon. After that, this ring was passed on to many people and even today it is believed that this ring is present with someone who can command the demons.
