According to the elders, there used to be ancient burial grounds at this place earlier, so it is not a big deal for such creepy incidents to occur here. Scientists believe that the species of ghaf trees release more carbon dioxide at night than any other tree in the region, which can lower people's oxygen levels, causing them to hallucinate. But people passing near these trees cross this area in a few seconds, in such a situation, no logic is understood for their oxygen level going down. So until these questions are answered, the best approach would be to distance yourself from these ancient ghaf trees.
