Tales of ghosts and spirits are present in every country of the world, and Australia is also one such country, where many haunted places exist. The Aradale Mental Asylum, located near the regional victoria, is still famous throughout Australia for its creepy activities. It was built in the year 1865 when people had very little information about mental health conditions. It is said that in this Asylum, patients were given heavy electric shocks and they were unknowingly tortured badly.

About 13,000 patients have died in this building so far, tagging this place as haunted. It is believed that the spirits of many of these patients are still violent and powerful, as they do not leave the place and make the living people feel their presence. According to reports, as the night falls here, some strange scary sounds begin to reverberate in this Asylum. Here sometimes the noises of people screaming are heard and sometimes the sound of laughing or crying of someone. Sometimes it even makes you feel that someone is following you, but when you turn around, there is no one.

Apart from this, people here have shared weird experiences of being pushed, torn clothes and even being oddly touched by cold hands. A nurse named Kerry was believed to have worked at this Asylum, who died due to unknown reasons, and it is said that her friendly ghost can still be seen roaming in the women's ward wearing a nurse uniform. Some paranormal experts have also tried to spend the night in this Asylum, but they did not get succeed in spending the whole night. Nearby night passers have also seen a woman spirit walking around here, with wrath filled in her eyes. This mental Asylum had been in operation for about 130 years and closed its doors in 1993.
