Sometimes, this question has probably been running through your mind that apart from our universe, is there any other universe in this creation of God? We get the answer to this question from a very interesting and surprising anecdote from the Puranas.
Once Brahma reaches Dvaraka to meet Lord Krishna where the gatekeeper or doorman stops him. Brahma asks the doorman to inform Krishna about his arrival, and when the doorman comes back after informing Krishna, he asks him which Brahma you are. At first, Brahma gets a little surprised after hearing this question and tells the doorman that he is the four-headed Brahma who is the father of the four Kumaras. After this, Krishna calls Brahma inside, there Brahma asks Krishna why did you tell the gatekeeper to ask me which Brahma I am, is there any Brahma other than me? Krishna smiles and uses his Yogamaya to summon different Brahmas from different universes.
Brahma (the four-headed one) sees that there is a ten-headed Brahma, and he wonders what his universe would look like. Then the hundred-headed Brahma reaches there, and within no time the thousand-headed, the million-headed, the ten million-headed, and even the hundred million-headed Brahma reach there and even more. No one can count the number of faces they had. Seeing all this astonishment, the four-headed Brahma bows down at the feet of Lord Krishna and starts apologizing with devotion. Brahma says that he could never understand the glory of Krishna before.

So according to the Vedas and Modern Scientific Theory, there exists an infinite number of universes, which has different sizes and different types. And there are three governors running each universe: Brahma, Vishnu, and Mahesh. Science has also got the idea that like our sun, there are hundreds of thousands of stars in this galaxy. Like this galaxy, over 200 billion galaxies are present in our universe and like our universe, there are infinite universes in this entire cosmos. All these universes together constitute one-fourth of God's creation, and three-fourths of it is beyond Maya, which we call the divine abode of God.

A universe out of infinite universes that exist in one-fourth of God's creation, a galaxy inside that universe and a solar system inside that galaxy, and a planet inside that solar system. And inside that planet a country, a state, a city, a colony, and a house in that colony where we live in. Now you can imagine how insignificant we are in front of that God's creation.
