You must have heard about déjà vu many times, according to which you feel that a particular event has already happened or been experienced by you. You can even simply translate déjà vu to "already seen". This is when a deep feeling comes to you that whatever is happening with you has happened to you before. But have you ever heard about Déjà Rêvé, probably very few people would have heard about it. Déjà Rêvé means to experience something that you had ever seen in your dream while sleeping. That is, when you are having a dream and see a particular scene or event in it and that scene turned into reality with you, then it is technically called Déjà Rêvé. You can also define déjà rêvé as "already dreamed", or a sensation of feeling like you dreamed about something before it happened in real life.
Three different categories of Déjà Rêvé
1. Episodic-like Déjà Rêvé
This is the most lucid form and it involves the subject remembering a specific dream in the experience, even being able to identify when they had it.
2. Familiarity- like Déjà Rêvé
This is any Déjà Rêvé that involves elements from a dream that the subject finds familiar, without being able to pinpoint the specific dream or date.
3. Dreamy state Déjà Rêvé
The final type and the most mysterious is Dreamy State Déjà Rêvé. This occurs when the feeling of Déjà Rêvé is accompanied by a feeling of actually being in a dream, or at least a feeling similar to that of night dreaming. So basically the line between reality and dreams starts to blur.
