Every day many coincidences happen with people on earth, many of which are quite common, but sometimes some such coincidences occur whose mystery no one can solve. So today we will tell you about one such mysterious coincidence of history, after listening to which you will fall into deep thinking.
In fact, in 1838, a famous American writer named Edgar Allan Poe, in one of his famous books called "The Narrative of Arthur Gordon Pym of Nantucket", wrote a story of four friends, who were trapped in the sea after a terrible ship disaster. In such a terrible situation, when they had nothing to eat, they thought of eating one of their own companions. Firstly, they catch a turtle and eat it, but later, in order to survive long enough to be finally rescued, they find out which of them will be sacrificed so as to provide meat for all. And the person who decided to be sacrificed was named "Richard Parker".

But a coincidence happened when in 1884, 46 years after the publication of this story, four friends barely escaped in a lifeboat after being trapped in a sea storm. They began their journey on a yacht named the Mignonette, which was a decent-sized boat measuring 52 feet in length. But one problem was that it was designed for only inshore sailings, not long-distance voyages. So it should come as no surprise to anyone when it faced the storm and sank. So for their survival, they certainly didn't have enough food. Initially, they caught a turtle and ate it. But if they were to be found alive until a rescue boat arrived, they needed to eat more. Therefore, like in the 46-year-old Poe tale, to save themself, they ate one of their own companions, whose name coincidentally was also Richard Parker. Now you must have understood how this story of cannibalism came true by unbelievable coincidence.
