Coconut water has always been considered one of the most healthy and nutritious drinks, but have you ever thought about where does the water inside the coconut come from? Coconut is generally recognized with the hard on the outside and a hollow part inside filled with water. Coconut trees are grown in tropical regions and at the same time, these trees are very tall, reaching up to 50-80 feet high.
The reason these trees are grown in these areas near the seas is to provide moisture to the roots. After the flower clusters have bloomed, they take the form of coconut and it may take a year for the coconut tree to mature. Also, it is known to all that Coconut fruit grows at the top of the tree, due to which no one pours water to them, resulting in a sufficient amount of water does not reach them.
So to make this thing happen nature plays a great role here as the water below the ground from the root system gets absorbed into these coconuts so that they can get enough water for their nourishment. This is the reason that green coconut contains more water, but after a few days, this water gets transformed into a creamy tissue, which is from the inner layer of the coconut. Raw coconut water is also believed to be very helpful for our digestion, metabolism, and hydration. So the coconut water that we drink is actually water absorbed from the roots.
