What would happen if a 9 mm black hole the size of a pea grain fell on our earth? Could such a tiny black hole swallow the whole earth at once? So let's try to understand this concept in a very simple way.
Whatever gravity we feel on the earth is basically due to the weight of the earth. When a very small astronomical object starts gaining a lot of weight, then its gravity increases greatly, and when this gravity becomes infinite then we call it a black hole. The 9 mm size black hole will be almost equal to the earth's mass, and we know already that the stronger the pull of gravity on an object, the greater its weight. As soon as the black hole is formed, it will start pulling all the things towards itself, first the atmosphere and then the water, and immediately the earth will start to explode. Now because even the big mountains have to go inside the 9 mm hole, then this will produce tremendous pressure and friction, which will lead to nuclear explosions. Now you can imagine the kind of destruction that humans and all other creatures on earth will have to face. So the conclusion now is that a pea-sized black hole would destroy Earth very quickly, but it would take millions of years to swallow it completely.
