Often some people claim to be predictors and make predictions, but, it is not necessary that they be correct every time. However, if we look at history, many major events of the world were predicted centuries ago and they also proved to be true. When these predictions came true, people became quite shocked and the whole world mourned the mishaps. Today we are going to tell you about one such disastrous event, which was unknowingly predicted 14 years ago and which also proved to be true. There was a man who predicted 14 years ago that the Titanic would sink and coincidentally 14 years later it happened exactly the same, the Titanic sank. In fact, you must know that in 1912, due to colliding with an iceberg on its very first voyage, the Titanic submerged in water. So there was a writer named "Morgan Robertson" who wrote a novel in 1898, 14 years before the Titanic sinking, known as "The Wreck of the Titan". In this novel, he had mentioned a ship, of course, referring to a magnificent ship, whose name was Titan. Yes, this name sounds quite similar to the original Titanic, but don't be shocked to know just that, because let's know further what were some more shocking similarities this novel had linked with the sinking of the real Titanic.
In fact, the Titan ship that the author referred to in this novel was called unsinkable, and shockingly the real-life Titanic was also said to be unsinkable and it sank too. In the novel story, the Titan hits an iceberg in the North Atlantic and sinks, and the original Titanic also does the same. That is, both ships were described as unsinkable, but both collided with an iceberg and sank. Both the ships were nearly the same size, with the Titanic being just 25 meters larger than the Titan. The story of the novel states that Titan sank at midnight in the month of April and 14 years later the real Titanic also sank exactly at midnight in the month of April. The Novel's Titan sinks 370 miles southeast of Newfoundland, and the real Titanic also sank at the exact same location.
Despite having thousands of passengers on board, the number of lifeboats on both ships was minimal. These two ships were considered unsinkable, which was probably the reason behind it. After the sinking of the Titanic, Robertson became famous for being a clairvoyant. But he said "No, I have no divine vision", "I know what I'm writing, that's all."
