Actually, in the 20th century, there was a writer named Ernest Hemingway who was very famous, but later he mysteriously started having some strange diseases. If we started telling about how many diseases he was suffered from, the article would become so long. So some of them were named malaria, pneumonia, anthrax, skin cancer, dysentery, anemia, hepatitis, diabetes, a ruptured kidney, liver damage, fractured skull, and crushed vertebra. He even survived two plane crashes. He had lived for many years fighting all these diseases, but in the year 1961, all this was getting out of his tolerance, due to which he committed suicide.
It was a very strange case indeed and after his suicide, when a little inspection was done on it, it was found that his family was already suffering from hundreds of such diseases and he was not the only person who committed such suicide. The suicides list also included his father, who had killed himself when Ernest was only 29, and three of his siblings (Ernest Jr., Ursula, and Leicester) as well. Even later his granddaughter, Margaux also committed suicide, making her the fifth person in four generations of her family to commit suicide. As a result, the surname of this family was given the name of a curse (Hemingway suicide curse) that destroyed the entire family.
