A very few people exist in the world, whose luck always remains on their side, and one such lady was Violet Jessop, who defeated death three times. Her story is an example of vivacity, and yes, it is certainly true that she is no longer in this world today, but her story is quite heart-touching. Actually, Jessop had worked as a nurse on three such ships in her life, which were the victims of major accidents and the Titanic was one of these ships. But her luck always supported her in defeating death. Maybe this is the reason why she is often called the "Queen of sinking ships," as well as "Miss Unsinkable.

If we talk about Jessop's childhood, then her childhood was also not so good. Because when she was a child she was diagnosed with tuberculosis and the doctor said that she would not be able to survive for long. But as it is said that nothing is more important than luck, so that's what happened, Jessop survived despite doctors' predictions. When Jessop was just 16 years old, her father died and after that, she shifted to England with her mother, where she attended a convent school. Her mother worked at sea as a stewardess. But when her mother's health deteriorated, then Violet left the school and started working as a nurse on the ship to run the household expenses.
It was in 1910 when Jessop was 21 years old and started a job as a nurse in a ship named Olympic. But during September 1911, this ship collided with another ship named, HMS Hawke, due to which both the ships suffered heavy damage but Violet did not even get a scratch. Later in 1912, Violet started a job on the Titanic, and this ship struck an iceberg and sank into the sea, causing huge damage, with the entire world witnessing this great destruction. More than 1500 people died out of 2224 people on board the ship, but this time also Violet's luck favored her and she survived again.

But this was also not the end, because after this Violet worked on the ship HMHS Britannic in 1916. This ship struck a deep-sea mine built in the Aegean Sea and sank within 55 minutes, killing 30 of the 1,066 people on board. But Violet survived this time as well. After surviving these three horrific shipwrecks, the world knew Violet as Miss Unsinkable. But this great journey of Violet came to an end when she died on 5 May 1971.
