Dinosaurs lived on the earth for about 200 million years and some 65 million years ago they suddenly disappeared. But what actually happened on Earth, that not put these species at risk of becoming endangered rather made them completely destroyed. Along with dinosaurs, many other species died out at the same time. For many years, different scientists have been bringing out their different theories on this subject. One theory suggests that small mammals ate the eggs of dinosaurs, due to which the dinosaur population began to decrease. The second theory states that the body of dinosaurs used to grow very large and their small brain could not operate it properly.
At the same time, some scientists say that there must have been a big pandemic on earth 65 million years ago, due to which dinosaurs and other species would have died. But the most reliable theory states that a large asteroid would have fallen on Earth, due to which there was sudden devastation on the earth such as earthquakes, tsunami, forest fires, and many other deadly events took place, creating a catastrophe-like scenario, which wiped out the entire population of dinosaurs. Asteroids are very large and rocky bodies that keep moving in the orbit of the sun and can sometimes break and fall to the Earth like a ball of fire. So probably all the dinosaurs and other species on earth died together due to the fall of a large asteroid.

However, some scientists also believe that about 66 million years ago, there was a huge volcano eruption, due to which the release of toxic gases caused the end of dinosaurs. But how actually dinosaurs became extinct, scientists continue to debate this topic even today.
