Who doesn't like to do experiments, if you have a scientific mindset then you will definitely want to try new experiments? But some experiments are such that we can perform on earth, and some are also there which are beyond our limits and we can perform them only in our imagination, as they seem impossible in real life. Today we are going to talk about one such hypothesis which actually seems quite impossible to imagine, but still, let's try to make this supposition a reality. What would happen if you throw a bucket full of water (equivalent to the size of the sun) on the sun?
As we know, the sun is so huge that throwing a human-sized bucket of water on the sun will do nothing. So for this experiment to work effectively, we would need to throw on an amount of water that would be equivalent to the size of the sun. So technically it's not possible, but still, if somehow it becomes possible and we throw a Sun's size bucket of water at the sun, will this huge ball of fire stop burning? So if you are thinking this way then you are making a big mistake. In fact, by doing this, the sun will take an even more formidable form. Throwing water at the sun will make it burn even brighter and stronger.
Due to the oxygen and hydrogen present in the water, the mass of the sun will increase, which would increase its gravity also. The reason for this would be that throwing a huge amount of hydrogen on the Sun would increase its brightness even more, as this hydrogen fuels the Sun's fusion reaction. If you understand it scientifically, the larger the mass of the star, the more nuclear fusion it will experience and the more energy it will pump into space per second. As a result, the Sun will become 1.7 times larger than the origin sun and will burn all the surrounding planets to ashes. Of course, it's a hypothesis but still quite scary.
