How Did A Girl Who Fell From The Plane Survive In The Amazon Rainforest For 11 Days?
How can someone survive by falling from a height of 3000 m, it seems a bit false to hear. But this has already happened once in the past when a girl fell from the plane and luckily survived. Actually, it is an incident of 1971 when a teenage girl named Juliane Koepcke was traveling with her mother on LANSA Flight 508. The plane was passing over the Amazon rainforest when suddenly the plane was struck by lightning due to bad weather. Usually, as we know, nothing happens to a plane when it is struck by lightning, but sometimes accidents happen.
As soon as the lightning struck the plane, the plane started shaking, all the luggage inside started falling here and there, causing all the passengers to start screaming. As a result, the plane suddenly started falling down and broke into pieces in the midair. During this, Juliane had closed her eyes and when she opened her eyes, she found herself still strapped to her seat and plummeted to the ground. She fainted after falling in the forest, but luckily she was alive, but when she regained consciousness, she found herself alone in a deserted jungle. She was intensely crying, but no one was there to hear her voice. She kept wandering in the forest for 9 days. On the 10th day, she couldn't stand properly as she had many severe insect bites and a maggot infestation in her wounded arm.
