The Veronica movie is thought to be the world's scariest film, as reviews from the public, take it to that level. Netflix released this movie in 2017 and the best part about this movie was that it was based on true incidents from the 1991 Vallecas case, where a young girl died mysteriously after she used an ouija board. The Vallecas case is one of the most famous cases of paranormal phenomena in Spain. The movie is originally directed by Paco Plaza and produced by Netflix. According to Netflix, this movie was so scary that only one person out of 100 was able to watch it completely, with many having to turn it off halfway because of its terrifying potential. It has also been warned that a person with a weak heart may even die while watching this film. What makes "Veronica" so horrifying, is that it's based on a true story.

The story revolves around a teenage girl who, wishing to make contact with her dead father, took the help of an Ouija board during a solar eclipse to make this possible. To conduct a seance using the Ouija board, she calls on her friends Rosa and Diana to accompany her in an attempt to make contact with the dead, and the girls started the game initially trying to reach out to Diana's dead boyfriend. But the problem comes when things don't go according to plan and Veronica passes out during the seance. After that, all kinds of weird things start to happen over the next three days, and many paranormal movements start as if a convoy of ghosts is walking in the house. In the end, the girl passed away in hospital shortly after unwarranted interference with the Ouija board. The case was never succeeded in genuine explanation and remains unexplained to the present day.
