Who doesn't like diamonds, everyone is fond of diamonds and everyone wants to get them. But the more precious it is considered, the more expensive it has always been. So, for those who believed gold to be costly, the diamond often held an even higher place in their hearts, and no one wants to waste or treat it carelessly. It's like a dream come true for common people. Diamond is said to be the most expensive material in the world but still, it does not get the first place, as the first place was taken by the Antimatter whose one gram is worth Rs. 6,414,000,000,000,000.
But apart from being expensive, diamond has many other qualities. You must be aware that diamond is the hardest known substance in the world so far, so what if we put a diamond in a dangerous thing like lava, will it melt the diamond, or change its form? So the answer is lava will not affect the diamond in any way because if we talk about it in a simple way, the diamond is also formed from one kind of lava. Diamonds are brought to the surface from the mantle in a rare type of magma called kimberlite. Don't get confused here with lava and magma, both are the same thing. Magma is an extremely hot liquid and semi-liquid rock located beneath the Earth's surface but when magma flows over the Earth's surface, it is called lava.

When extreme heat and pressure form a very high solid form of carbon whose atoms are arranged in a crystal structure, we call it a diamond. At temperatures of 2000 – 2200 degrees Fahrenheit, a diamond generally begins to form. The melting point of the diamond is considered to be over 4,000 °C as the ultimate melting point of the diamond is about 4,027° C. On the other hand, the average temperature of lava is between 700 to 1400 degrees Celsius. So if compared, there is a huge difference between these two numbers, 4,027 ° C and 1,400 ° C, so no matter how long you keep the diamond in the lava, no effect would be seen on the diamond.
