If you have ever get into a lift or elevator, then you must have seen that most of the lifts have mirrors installed in them, but now the question is why there is a need of installing a mirror in the lift. So let's try to know the reason for this through today's short article. Initially, when there was no mirror in the elevators, people used to complain that the speed of the lift is too high and its speed should be reduced. And when this matter reached the makers of the lifts, they came to know that the mind and attention of the people remain entirely on the speed of the lift, due to which they get nervous and frightened.

Now it was necessary to divert their mind and attention in some way and to find out its solution, the mirrors were started installing in the lifts so that when people get into the lift, they only looked at themselves and their attention never went to the speed of the lift. On the other hand, as the buildings got taller and higher, more people started using the lifts, but as the lifts were running quite slowly, people were complaining about this issue continuously. So instead of changing the whole concept, the makers of the company decided to divert people's minds by installing mirrors so that their focus would be on themselves rather than the slow speed of the elevator.
