We all know that water cannot catch fire unless we tamper with it by adding some flammable material into it. Generally, water is used as the most frequent option to extinguish the fire and this is also true because as soon as we pour water over the fire, the fire starts extinguishing. But what if the water, which is considered as the number 1 priority for extinguishing the fire, starts catching fire on itself, then what other option should be used to extinguish it? It must have sounded a bit strange but in fact, such an incident happened a while back on the coast of Mocha Island, Chile.
As it is almost considered impossible to lit fire in raw water, but do you know there is such a sea whose water you can bathe in and also can set fire in it. Actually, there is an island named Mocha around the Pacific Ocean, whose water literally catches fire, this picture above is of the same island. Scientists say that some natural gas has been found in the water of that island, which causes fire in it. But whatever it is, this natural event really seems to be very shocking and impressive.
