Many times you must have felt pain in your body and due to which you might have suffered a lot, but you will be surprised to know that in reality there is no such thing as pain. Yes, you are hearing it right, pain is just a survival mechanism that is created by the brain. Through pain, the brain just wants to inform you that there is something wrong with some part of your body and you have to do something to fix it. So it means there is no such thing as pain, it is just the creation of the brain, making you aware of the fault that is being developed in the body.
But on the contrary, there is also an extraordinarily rare condition in which a person does not feel any physical pain, named Congenital insensitivity to pain (CIP), also known as congenital analgesia. So far very few cases of people experienced with this condition have been reported around the world. Somewhere congenital analgesia seems like a blessing to people, as having a body free of pain and suffering can be a really pleasurable feeling.

But in reality, it doesn't look like a boon but a punishment because pain is necessary for our body to react or feel, otherwise, we would not be able to find whether there is any fault in our body or not, and it also makes us unable to detect the real cause of the problem. Even sometimes it can be quite dangerous for someone like if a person suffering from this condition has a heart attack, so he would not feel any pain, making him unable to know whether he desperately needs to go to a medical emergency, which could also be the cause of his death.
