We all are well aware what is the role of electricity in our world and what is its importance in our lives, but now just imagine what the world would be like if electricity was free. Perhaps you are unaware that once a famous scientist Nikola Tesla invented a way to make electricity available to the whole world for free forever? But this secret way never came to the fore as it was destroyed by powerful politicians and businessmen. This invention of his could have supplied electricity to the whole world for free, but today we could not be a part of this big change as politicians and businessmen were only looking for a profit from their business.
This is a matter of 1901 when an invention was made by Nikola Tesla, if it had been successful, then perhaps we would have been a hundred years ahead of our time. This was the invention of wireless electricity, in which Nikola Tesla was working on making a Wardenclyffe Tower, also known as the Tesla Tower so that free electricity supply could be provided to the whole city through radio transmission. For this, he asked JP Morgan, one of the biggest investors of New York at that time, to invest money in this project. Initially, JP Morgan had invested money in this tower, but later when he came to know that Tesla was dreaming of a free electricity supply throughout the city, he stopped funding for this project of Tesla. After this, the project had to be stopped in 1905 due to bad financial conditions, and thus, in 1918 the tower was completely demolished.
Tesla's inventions were mostly based on his imagination, and due to this, he started working on a project called Death Beam which he called teleforce in the 1930s. This invention would also have proved to be quite advance if it could be completed. Death Beam was such a weapon that from 250 miles away, it could destroy 10,000 enemy aircraft in one go. But the reason for its not being completed was the lack of funds. Tesla's first investor JP Morgan refused to fund this project, although the Soviet Union had given Tesla a $25,000 check but it was too less for this project and that is why even this invention could not be completed.
