You might have heard about some such places where two rivers (Confluence of Rhone and Arve rivers) or two seas merge with each other after being extremely come closer but have you ever heard of such a place where a beautiful sea merges with a picturesque desert. If you are not aware, then let us tell you that there is such a place in southern Africa where a desert and the sea meet, reflecting its greatness in the beautiful natural form, making it one of the most surreal sights. The desert named Namib, on one side, and the Atlantic Ocean on the other, together form the most gorgeous scenery of nature, is located along Africa’s Atlantic coast towards the southwest.

It comprises some of the world's most splendid and tallest dunes, varying in color from pink to bright orange. Summer temperatures of the desert often reach 45 °C and night temperatures can be below freezing. The region is recognized as one of the driest destinations on the planet because of the desert's Mars-like landscape, consisting of nothing but barren mountains, high sand dunes, and gravel plains spread over about 81000 sq km across three nations.
