Sometimes a question may arise in your mind that if the poison expires, what will happen, will it be more effective or less? But before knowing this fact, let us know first what exactly poison is. If we talk about it deeply, then there are two types of toxicity, the first is Venom and the second is Poison, there is a huge difference in the properties of both. Generally, people consider these two terms to be the same but it is not so at all.
If we talk about venom, it is usually found inside animals and living beings like snakes, spiders, scorpions, centipedes, and bees, etc. in the form of their body proteins which can kill anyone with their toxicity. The venom usually enters one's body through a bite or sting, as it contains a mixture of small and large molecules that need a wound to enter one's body, and to be effective it must be carried through the bloodstream. Venomous animals are considered more active in defending themselves.

On the other hand, poison is a toxin that can be found in natural or synthetic form and usually enters the body through, inhaling, swallowing, or absorption through the skin. Poisonous animals are not more active aggressive as they are considered passive-aggressive, because they often do not actively attack their prey, but as a result of being eaten and touched, they release their toxins, resulting in killing or harming their prey.
Sometimes you might have heard such a conversation among a group of people, in which one person would ask which snake is more poisonous among the most dangerous snakes like black mamba and cobra. But this sentence does not seem to be technically correct - to be honest, the most dangerous snakes are actually venomous, not poisonous.
The word venomous is mainly used for organisms that sting or bite. Very few snakes are actually considered poisonous, as most of the snakes' toxins are transferred through a bite or sting. But the garter snake is one that is harmless and small in terms of its bite but is poisonous to eat as its body absorbs and stores its prey's toxins. But sometimes an animal can be both poisonous and venomous, the blue-ringed octopus making a perfect example for it, which is venomous when bitten by its beak but poisonous when swallowed.
