There have been many wars in the world so far, but world wars are considered to be the most dreadful among them. World wars have always been full of mysteries, some mysteries have been completely solved and some have remained unsolved for decades and centuries. So through today's article, we are going to tell you about some such unsolved mysteries of World War II, which will blow your senses.
1. During the last days of World War II, in April 1945, the Nazi people had loaded a train, known as Nazi gold train, with Nazi treasure, including a lot of gold in which there was also a lot of valuable looted from Jewish victims of the Holocaust and they were sending all this somewhere through the Owl Mountain. But suddenly this train disappeared in a tunnel built in the mountains made by the Nazis during the war, due to which it was searched for many decades, but no trace of this gold train could be found and since then this train has also been called Nazi Ghost Train.
2. On August 16, 1942, early in the morning, the U.S. Navy blimp, L-8, took off from Treasure Island in the San Francisco Bay. The crew of this airship included Lieutenant Ernest W. Cody, a pilot, and Ensign Charles E. Adams went out on an antisubmarine patrol mission a little off the coast of California. Around one or half hours after the launch of the patrol mission, Lieutenant Cody told through radio that they had seen oil leaking from somewhere in the water and they were going to investigate it.
About three hours later, the airship had come 8 miles off the coast of South San Francisco, where it crashed on an ocean beach and descended toward Daly City, striking the roofs of several homes. As soon as the blimp L-8 stopped, many people went to the crash site to help the crew, but everyone was stunned by the view there. Because all the doors of the airship were open and there was no one and since then not a single member of the crew has been found. But how can they disappear suddenly, many assumptions were made on it, but even today, no one knows what actually happened to them.
3. The Amber Room, also considered as "Eighth Wonder of the World", is one of the most unique missing treasures ever. This Amber Room was very beautiful, whose creation was started by Prussian King Frederick I in 1701 in Prussia. It was a 1,080 square feet hall, the size of a large living room with large wall panels and a superbly designed amber, where precious jewels and some glass display cases from some of the most valuable collections of Prussia and Russia were also placed. The amber panels cover three of the 26-foot-high walls.
In 1716, the son of King Frederick I, forming the Russo-Prussian alliance, gifted this Amber Room to Peter the Great of Russia, and then the amber room was brought to the Catherine Palace. After that in 1941, German soldiers disassembled the Amber Room within 36 hours and displayed it in Konigsberg Castle. But in 1945 the Amber Room disappeared without any news and even today it is not known where that room suddenly vanished. Some say that it was destroyed in a bomb attack, but others believe that it was buried somewhere and kept hidden so that it could be kept safe.
