A road that you have hardly heard about, yes, today we are going to talk about such a road which is called the last road of the world. Norway is a country where many enigmatic places exist, one such place is known as the last road of the world where you are not allowed to go alone. This is the only road that is located near the north pole of the earth that will take you as close to the North pole as possible. Actually, the North Pole is the farthest northern point on Earth where the Earth's axis rotates. It is at the end of Norway and the road leading from here is considered to be the last road in the world, named E-69 highway. This Norwegian road connects the ends of the earth and Norway, and there is no other road beyond this road as only the sea is visible on all four sides except snow or ice.

Another thing that amazes people is that there are many such places on this 14 km long highway where it is forbidden to go alone or even to drive. You must be accompanied by four or more people to travel here, as there is always a danger of getting lost due to the thick sheet of snow lying everywhere, resulting in the prohibition for any single person to visit here. The exciting thing here is that due to its closeness to the North Pole, neither the nights end here in the winter season nor the sun ever sets in the summer, and sometimes this period can last up to six months. If we talk about the temperature, then in winter the temperature here ranges from minus 43 degrees to minus 26 degrees Celsius, and in summer the temperature remains around zero degrees celsius.

Now the question arises, do people live here despite being so cold? the answer is yes. Earlier only fish trade was done here but from the year 1930, this place started developing. After about four years, such as, in 1934, the people here together decided that tourists should also be welcomed here so that they can earn from a separate source of income. After which people from around the world started traveling here and as a result, many kinds of restaurants and small hotels were built here. Visiting here gives people a feeling of being in another world, and also seeing the setting sun and polar lights here enthralls the people. Here the sky sometimes appears blue at night, sometimes green, and sometimes even pink. Polar lights are also called auroras that are only visible at night in the lower polar regions, that too when there is complete darkness in the sky.
