Do you know which snake got the title of being the longest in the world and also which species family this snake belongs to, compared to which even an anaconda looks like a baby snake? But if you are not aware of it then let us tell you that the name of this snake is Titanoboa, who once ruled the earth and was considered the king of the land. The name Titanoboa means "titanic boa". The Titanoboa is said to have existed about 58 to 60 million years ago and remained the largest on Earth for nearly 10,00000 years. It had a total length of around 13 meters (42.7 feet) and an average weight of about 1,135 kg (1.25 tons).
This monster snake literally had the ability to swallow a crocodile by opening its mouth at once and was also potentially capable of eating all the reptiles whether on the ground or water. Once in a while, the whole snake tied itself around the crocodile, causing the stoppage of blood flow in his brain, and eventually, that crocodile would die. Scientists also believe that Titanoboa could easily eat the giant turtles belonging to that era, even at once. If we talk about the present era, the fossil of this snake was found in Colombia for the first time in 2009 and upon inspection, it was found that this snake could eat up to 40 kg of food in one day, which could be 20 kg from the ground and 20 kg from water, as this snake could easily hunt on land as well as in water.

So if these snakes were still on our earth, then they would have eaten all the animals and reproduced and would have created a whole empire of snakes. At present, the green anaconda is the largest and heaviest snake which is averagely around 227 kg, but a large individual anaconda might weigh up to 1,100 pounds (500 kilograms). These green anacondas are capable of eating deer, fish, turtles, birds, sheep, dogs, and even jaguars. In comparison, this Anaconda is just 227 kg and Titanoboa of 1,135 kg, which is the biggest among all the snakes on earth, no living snake with such a verified length and weight has ever been found.
