According to Muslim beliefs, Jinn is such a power that is considered to be extremely powerful and elusive from humans, but their existence is still a matter of doubt for many people and these doubts make Jinns more mysterious. So do Jinn really exist? Jinns are the supernatural creatures of Islamic and Arabian traditions, which are mentioned in the Quran and other Islamic texts. According to the Quran, God created humans out of clay, angels from light, and jinn from smokeless fire. Jinns also have their own body, but they are mostly invisible and they are able to talk to humans and make their impact on them. Today we are going to tell you about such a place where it is claimed that this place is inhabited by Jinns and people come to this place to ask for help from them. But before proceeding further, let's try to know some facts about the existence of Jinn. Jinns can also be good and bad like humans. They also like to live in their community like humans, but they like seclusion, that is why they make their shelter in remote areas like mountains, trees, deserted forts, and deserted houses.
Jinns have the freedom to take decisions of their own accord from God and this freedom gives them an opportunity to make an impact in the life of humans. It is believed that if a Jinn wants, a person can reach the peak of success, and similarly a bad Jinn can destroy a person's life too. It is almost impossible to locate Jinn's dwellings, but there exists a place in Delhi, India, which is supposed to be the home to not one or two but many Jinns, and this place is named Feroz Shah Kotla. Feroz Shah Kotla is mainly famous for the international cricket stadium present there, but very few people are aware that this stadium derives its name from the fort of Feroz Shah Kotla which claimed to be the settlement of the Jinns, and for this reason, this fort is also called the fort of Jinns.
In 1354, Sultan Feroz Shah Tughlaq established the fortified city of Ferozabad, and at the same time, a fort was also constructed there, in which a mosque, a Baoli, and a large garden complex were built, but with time, this fort was deserted and turned into ruins. But no one has a firm knowledge of how Jinn had entered this fort. But if we believe historians and legends, this fort was deserted for years, that's why the Jinn made it their home and since then the residents here had to face some such incidents near this fort, which spread this word all around that Jinns had taken this fort under their possession. After this people stopped going around this fort. Some claim that a long time ago, there was a Sufi saint who had been requested by Jins to offer prayers in the fort's mosque again, so this place could be illuminated by the light of God again. Then the saint explained to the people that Jinns are also a creation made of God like humans from which there is no need to be afraid and since then prayers started being offered in the mosque. In return, Jinn started helping people here and this practice has continued ever since.
The people here used to narrate their problems to the Jinns and many times they claimed that their prayers have been heard and their wishes have been fulfilled. Here it is believed that any problem related to your life, which you want to get resolved from the jinns here, is penned down on a paper, and after that, at night time Jinn comes here and reads the people's letters and overcome their problems. The letters can be seen on the walls within the premises. For those who don't believe in Jinns and such things, it might be a funny thing, but the people who believe in Jinns have fully convinced that their problems have been resolved by them. Many people in the vicinity are fully convinced that Jinns has a shelter in this fort but to date, they have not harmed anyone.
