Do you know that there are many places around the world where people are not allowed to visit due to some reasons? Today we will talk about some such places which are in India. But now you will say that in India we are free to visit anywhere and there are no such places in India where such restrictions are made. So let's talk about some such places:-
The Siachen Glacier is located in the eastern Karakoram mountain range in the Himalayas. This glacier is a disputed area between India and Pakistan. It is a 47-mile-long glacier, which is the longest glacier in the Karakoram. It is just northeast of the point NJ9842 where the Line of Control between India and Pakistan ends. This disputed mass of ice is home to the highest battleground and one of the most difficult terrains on Earth. Indian and Pakistani forces have been occupying posts on or near this Glacier since 1984. Both countries maintain a permanent military presence in the region at a height of over 20,000 ft. The Siachen region is home to rare species including brown bears, snow leopards, and ibex and because of the military presence that all are put at risk. The nearest civilian settlement is the village of Warshi, a small village about 10 miles downstream from the Indian base camp. The melting waters of the glacier are the main source of the Nubra River in the Indian region of Ladakh.

GP Block
GP Block is a haunted double storey apartment built in the Army area of Meerut. This apartment is deserted and without any residence and considered one of the most haunted areas in the city's history. It is believed that this apartment is haunted by evil spirits. Some people have claimed that they have seen a woman walking on the roof of this apartment wearing red clothes. Others have reported seeing four men drinking inside the property or at its rooftop. It happens to be the most common sight for people passing through that area and the scenes keep repeating all over the house. Being in the area of the army, it is already prohibited to roam around this apartment and then claims of sighting ghosts have made this apartment even more deserted. Now whatever the truth is, but due to these stories, people do not like to come here at all.

Aksai Chin
Aksai Chin is one of the most disputed areas between India and China. India believes that this place is part of the union territory of Ladakh and constituting the eastern portion of the larger Kashmir region, and China says that it is part of Hotan County in Xinjiang Autonomous Region in China. Since 1962, it has been the only subject of a dispute between India and China. Aksai Chin covers an area of about 37,244 square kilometers. The area is a high-altitude cold desert where many saltwater lakes exist. The Line of Actual Control (LAC), which is a demarcation line that separates Indian-controlled territory from Chinese-controlled territory, also originates from here and in this way this place becomes one of the most dangerous places in the world.

Barren Island
Part of the Andaman Islands in India, Barren Island is also one of those places where humans are not allowed to go. The reason for this is that South Asia's only confirmed active volcano is on the barren island. Hot red lava and ash clouds coming out of this volcano can be seen from far away. This volcano has erupted more than ten times, with the most recent one being in 2017. This volcano was first erupted in 1787 and was further erupted in 1789, 1795, 1803, 1804, and 1852. Then in 1991, there was another eruption on this island that lasted for six months and caused a lot of damage. The island can be visited by rented boats and ferries but the visitors are restricted to land on the Barren Island, but the aquatic area around the island remains a favorite place for scuba diving and water adventure, enthusiasts, and is considered one of the top scuba diving destinations in the world.

Chambal basin
Madhya Pradesh is known as the 'heart of India' not only for its geographical position but also for its rich natural resources and its unique cultural history. The natural beauty of the Chambal River and its surrounding valleys in Madhya Pradesh is worth seeing, but going there is not empty of danger. The reason is that the dacoits who still have possession over this area and their fear is so much that Chambal stunning beauty is also felt helpless. The dacoity had a large impact on the Chambal regions in Madhya Pradesh. But the exact reasons for the emergence of dacoity in the Chambal valley has been disputed. The Chambal River is considered pollution-free and hosts an amazing riverine faunal assemblage including the mugger and gharial - the two species of crocodilians. The shooting of some Bollywood films has been done in the Chambal region, but people do not like to come here at all and the government also has strict laws in this direction.

Mukesh Mills
This haunted mill located in Colaba in Mumbai is one of those places that has a dreadful past and is deserted today. A devastating fire broke out here in 1982 and after that, the mill was closed forever. But what was the cause of the fire remains a mystery even today. A few years ago, when a film director arrived here to shoot a film, he experienced here very horrifying incidents, such as scary voices, ethereal footsteps and even claims of seeing the ghostly figures. Some people also say that the actress of that film gets possessed amid the shoot by an evil spirit. She was shooting at the spot and suddenly her voice changed and all the people there were ordered to leave that place immediately. Consequently, all the crew members left the place and since then no one dares to go there.

Cholamu lake
We also know Cholamu lake as Tso Lhamo lake. Located at an altitude of 5,930 m, it is the highest lake in India and one of the highest lakes in the world. The lake is purely for nature lovers, who would love to lose themselves in its beauty. The lake is situated in North Sikkim, about 4 km southwest of the international border with China. This lake is so beautiful that one who sees it may not be able to remove his or her eyes from it. But one should be lucky to see it as visiting Cholamu Lake requires special permits from Army and Sikkim police/administration.

Bhangarh Fort
The fort of Bhangarh situated in the Alwar district of Rajasthan is one of the most dangerous places in India. The reason for this is the ghostly events occurring in the fort, which many people have claimed. It is believed that this fort is inhabited by ghosts and whoever comes here after sunset never returns back. Therefore, after the sun sets, the entry of any person inside this fort is completely forbidden. But if you want to do this, then you have to take special permission from the government. Many horror stories related to this fort are popular among people but what is the reality is still a mystery.

Nicobar Islands
The Nicobar Islands are an archipelagic island chain in the eastern Indian Ocean. Do you know why these beautiful islands of Nicobar and their beauty remain even today because people are not allowed to enter this paradise. If we humans were given the freedom to go here, we would probably ruin it. The dense forests of Nicobar islands and the beautiful beaches that fascinate the mind, and which are completely untouched by the outer world, UNESCO has declared it as World Biosphere Reserve where you need to get so many permissions to visit. The Nicobar Islands have been declared as World Biosphere Reserve on 31 May 2013. There are some areas where you can never reach, but if you are a scientist and you want to go there for some research, then maybe you can get permission. The islands are not open for tourism. So, they don’t allow tourists or the common public inside these restricted areas.
North Sentinel Island
North Sentinel Island is one of the Andaman Islands. The island is inhabited by a special kind of tribal people, called Sentinelese, who are completely cut off from modernity. The Sentinelese are the only people currently known to not have reached further than a Paleolithic level of technology. These types of people are also known as lost tribes. These tribal people are said to have completely rejected the modern civilization and have no contact with the outside world. The people living here do not like outside people at all. It is said that whenever these people meet with someone outsider, they always show violent behavior with them. Therefore, the Government of India has completely banned the entry of any person to this island.
