The tiny island is connected to the mainland only by a narrow isthmus. The stone houses with roofs red are tightly packed together on rocks, which look like rubies. The island covers an area of 12,400 m2. Near the island, there is a coastline of 2 kilometers in the central part of Montenegro Adriatic coastline. The pink-sand beaches, crystal-clear water, and rugged, pine-cloaked mountains make an indescribable background for Aman Sveti Stefan. The pink sandy beaches of Sveti Stefan, Milocer Beach, and Queen’s Beach are part of the coastline.

Sveti Stefan has been named as the most photographed site of Montenegro. Every facility is available for the guests coming here, and even they can stay in everything from individual rooms to the entire villas with private pools and terraces, offering a spectacular sea view. However, this island is closed for non-resort guests, but the beaches north and south of the island are open to the public with payment of a fee. In order to achieve excellent views of the island, many tourists stop at the viewpoint located along the main road. There are tourist boats from Budva where the island is one of the places to be visited.
