Nature is full of many wonderful and unknown things which can not be compared and beauty of nature can never be measured. Right now we only know a few percent of it. But there are so many things in the world that force you to think that how it can be so amazing and unique. Today, we are going to tell you about such a place where you would like to go at least once in your life. But if you are a traveler then you will not be able to stop yourself from going there. The name of this beautiful and amazing place is "The Wave". The Wave is a huge structure made of sandstone, located in Arizona, United States near its northern border with Utah. This beautiful area is administered by the Bureau of Land Management at the Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument visitor center in Kanab, Utah. The Wave's stunning patterns composed of sandstone attracts many photographers, hikers and nature lovers.
Many well-known photographers have come here and have captured the beautiful views in their cameras. Hikers also like to come here because of the difficult hiking route. Due to the formation of sandstone, the rocks are quite fragile which makes it even more difficult to climb up, perhaps that is why it is one of the hikers' favorite places. The Wave is located within the Paria Canyon-Vermilion Cliffs Wilderness of the Colorado Plateau. The rock formations are said to be from the Jurassic era.

To provide access to Paria Canyon and the Wave, four trailheads are there. But to maintain the natural genuineness of the region, there are no formal trails or signage to guide hikers to the Wave from any of the trailheads. The White House trailhead is the main entrance, and the mostly used one. Wire Pass trailhead is the gateway to some spectacular scenery and hiking, including The Wave and Buckskin Gulch. Located at the lower end of the Paria Canyon, the Lee's Ferry trailhead is the usual exit point for hikers who travel the entire length of the canyon.
Because of the delicate nature of the formation and the large number of people wishing to see it, daily lottery system is used to give only ten next-day permits in person at the Kanab visitor center. A map and information about the hike are provided to those who have received permits. The best time for photography at the Wave is when there is no shadows in the center during the few hours around midday. But somewhere early morning and late afternoon shadows can also make for stunning photos. If you are a real adventurer, then surely you should go to this thrilling and beautiful location.
