Sin and Virtue are the two aspects of mind. Just as good deeds and bad deeds happen, just as happiness and misery are experienced, in the same way sin and virtue are also the thoughts of the mind. It is obviously assumed that the work that is done openly, it is virtuous and whatever work is done secretly, it is sin. Shri Krishna has said in the Bhagavad Gita that happiness and misery, win and lose are the temporary things, please raise yourself above these stupid things. That's because no pleasure is permanent and no misery, no profit is permanent or no loss, which does not look good to you, you called it as sin, which is what you like to do, you called it as virtue. If a person is dear to you today, then you like everything about him and if he does not listen to you then you feel bad. If your son, wife or any other person behaves well with you, you say that he or she is very obedient, but when he starts misbehaving with you, then you call him or her a bad person. It is written in the scriptures that if wife is beautiful, the son is obedient, the servant serves you, there is wealth in the house, then happiness in this world is available to you. Then this world is heaven to you. But if the owner of the house is wicked and adulterous, then even wife and son obey him, how can there be heaven? In heaven, there are moral people.
When someone behaves immoral, but his parents or anyone else see goodness in his behavior, then this is called immorality is being preached. Actually sin and virtue are in your eyes. Seeing a beautiful woman on the road, you can say that God has created a very beautiful creation, I thank you for this. But after seeing the same woman, if someone's mind is affected by lust, then these negative thoughts can motivate you to commit sin. You are doing the both good deeds or bad deeds. Now you have to decide what is sin and what is virtue?
